Mike Dailey is an American football head coach previously employed by the Arena Football League. While most known for his years as head coach of the Albany Firebirds and Colorado Crush, his AFL experience began as an assistant coach for the Washington Commandos in 1989 and 1990. It wouldn't be until 1997 that Dailey would get his chance to run a team, joining the Albany Firebirds and leading them to a 58-32 record over seven years, including an ArenaBowl victory in 1999. His stint with the Colorado Crush in 2004 was almost equally impressive, with an ArenaBowl title in 2005 and three winning seasons before the AFL ceased operations for the 2009 season, leaving him without a job. He was elected into the AFL Hall of Fame in 2012.
