The Grand Rapids Rampage is a franchise primarily recognized by the Arena Football League. The team debuted as an expansion team in 1998. Under head coach Michael Trigg, the Rampage won their first and only ArenaBowl Championship in ArenaBowl XV. After their championship run, the Rampage lost the following year in the first round of the playoffs, beginning a six-year streak without a winning season until the franchise eventually folded in 2008.
