The Carolina Cobras is a franchise primarily recognized by the Arena Football League. The team entered the league in 2000 and played in the Southern and Eastern Divisions of the National Conference. In 2003, the Cobras became one of only six teams in league history to go winless in the regular season. The Cobras would fold after the 2004 season due to dwindling attendance rates.
